1. The Government of Maldives has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Maldives; Atolls Education Development Project (AEDP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
2. The consulting services (“the Services”) includes all the tasks related to the implementation of STEM education in the Maldives. The assignment is to be for 06 months duration.
3. The detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the assignment can be obtained at the address given below.
4. The Ministry of Education now invites eligible individual consultants (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are:

• Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in STEM education or in the field of disciplines related to STEM education.
• Must have at least 3 years of work experience in the field of STEM education or disciplines related to STEM education development.
• Must  have at least 3 years of leadership experience in schools or educational institutions.

1. The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest. 
2. A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Consultant’s Quality and Cost-Based Selection (QCBS) method set out in the Procurement Regulations.
