State Trading Organization Plc. (STO) is pleased to offer the opportunity to submit proposals for construction works for STO Head Office Extension Building Project.
1. Project Overview
Construction of 06 story building
- Groundworks
- Concrete Works
- Masonry
- Plastering
- Doors and Windows
- Metal and Carpentry works
- Painting, Finishing
- Ceiling Works
- Electrical System
- Firefighting
- Hydraulics and Drainage
- Roofing Works
2. The Eligible Tenderers are limited to;
2.1 Parties who have completed at least 1 Similar Building Project of value MVR 10,000,000.00 and above in the past 10 years.
2.2 Completed works should include majority of the scope of works stated in the project overview.
3. Experience of the proponent will be validated by:
3.1 Reference letter/completion certificates or any documentation in the name of the Companies/Government Entities/Institutions/Commission etc. (any legal or government entity)
3.2 The tenderer shall submit the Project Data Sheet annexed in this tender notice with all the required details.
3.3 To assist in the assessment and eligibility of the bidder, STO may, at STO’s discretion, ask any proponent to submit any documents (including and not limited to some mandatory documents) for clarification and verification.
- 4. Tendering Process.

Registration and Bid Document: |
Tenderers can register via email to [email protected] along with the documents required to verify the eligibility criteria.
Deadline for Registration is 04th December 2022, 1100hrs.
ONLY Eligible Tenderers can register and participate in the tender.
A complete set of Bidding Document in English shall be sent via email on, 06th December 2022, only to the parties who have successfully registered under the tender. |

Questions and Replies: |
Questions shall be type-written in English, and shall be sent via email, on or before 8th December 2022, 1100hrs, to the address specified below. Replies to questions will be given on theof 8th December 2022, to all those who have successfully registered under this tender

Tender Submission: |
Documents shall be emailed to [email protected] [NOT LATER than 13th December 2022 at 1100:00hrs.]
Submissions received after deadline shall be rejected. |
