Consultancy Services for the Implementation of the 6th Power Development Project

1. State Electric Company Ltd (STELCO) wishes to re-tender the Consultancy Services for the Implementation of the 6th Power Development Project, tender ref no: H/IUL/2022/06 as the specification has been changed.

2. The accompanying Required Qualifications must be met in order for a bidder to participate. Interested and eligible Bidders may purchase a complete set of Bidding Documents from STELCO’s head office in Male’, during the following dates specified in the table below. Upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MVR 1,000.00 (Maldivian Rufiyaa One Thousand Only) or equivalent in USD, in cash or telegraphic transfer, documents shall be issued via email on all working days during the following dates mentioned in the table below

1. Key Dates:

• Only Bidders who purchase the Bidding document can participate, and thus, the bid document is not transferable.

The proposals which do not meet above conditions will not be evaluated. The verification of the minimum requirements may involve contacting directly with the owners of previous project completed by the bidders.

1. The Bid Validity shall be minimum hundred (100) days from the date of Bid opening. All Bids shall be accompanied with a Bid Security of USD 20,000.00 (Twenty Thousand Dollars Only) or equivalent in Maldivian Rufiyaa which is valid for Thirty (30) days beyond the validity of the bid. The Performance Security shall be 15% of the Bid Price. Bid Security and Performance Security shall be a bank guarantee letter (as per the format in the bid document), bank draft or an insurance policy.

1. A pre-bid meeting shall be held on Thursday, 01^st September 2022 at 11:00hrs local time. More details regarding the pre-bid meeting will be emailed to the bidders.

1. All Bids shall be forwarded and reach the below address on or before Thursday, 08^th September 2022, at 11:00 hrs. local time.
2. The Bids shall be addressed as follows:

• STELCO shall not be liable for the misplacement or premature opening for the unlabeled proposals.

1. Further instructions regarding the bid opening meeting will be emailed to the bidders.

9. It is in STELCO’s discretion to reject/cancel any bid which does not fulfil or comply with the above terms, at any time during the bid evaluation process. Also it is in STELCO’s discretion to cancel this invitation to bid at any time.
