State Electric Company Limited (STELCO) is seeking to recruit talented and qualified candidates to fill the position of:

Position:              

Draftsman

Salary:

Between MVR 9,020.00 – MVR 19,000.00

Other Allowances:

Selected candidate will be entitled with other allowances as per company guidelines

Department:

Projects, Planning and Development Department

Educational Qualification and Experience:

• Diploma or Certificate Level 04 in architecture or Draftsman
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field
• Experience in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD)
• Knowledge of regulatory standards
• Ability to work well in a team and individually
• Should be able to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Following specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings
• Preparing both rough sketched and detailed work with CADD system
• Performing calculations for materials and weight limitations
• Communicating with architects and engineers, and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings
• Preparing, reviewing and revising alongside the engineering team
• Identifying and communicating potential design problems
• Prepare documents for tender and BOQ
