Tenderers are hereby invited by State Trading Organization Plc. of the Republic of Maldives, to hire a suitable party for Removal of existing IFO lines and IFO recovery tank from Funadhoo Fuel Farm.
1. Project overview:
Removal of existing IFO lines and IFO recovery tank from Funadhoo Fuel Farm consists mainly of the works below.
- To empty the IFO from the IFO pipelines and the IFO recovery tanks to barrels
- To remove the insulation from the IFO recovery tank and IFO pipelines and to remove the insulations from the terminal premises
- To dismantle the IFO pipelines and the equipments on the line.
- To remove the IFO recovery tank from the tank farm and to shift to another location inside the terminal.
- To take the IFO quantity at the auction rate
- To take the removed pipes and accessories at metal scrap rate.
2. Eligible Tenderers
- Tenderers must have completed at least 2 (Two) project of similar in nature value over MVR 100,000.00, in the last 5 (five) years to be eligible for the tender.
- Project of Similar in nature: dismantling/installation of pipeline works.
- Experience of the bidder will be validated only by reference letters/completion letters issued to the bidder by the respective client.
i. Reference letter/Completion letter received ONLY in the name of the project owner (companies’/ government
entities/institutions/commissions etc.) (any legal or government entity) will be considered as experience of the bidder.
ii. Reference letters in the name of individual Members/Consultants will not be considered as a bidder’s experience.
3. Tendering Process.

Registration and Bid Document: |
Tenderers can register via email, [email protected], along with the documents required to verify the Eligibility. Deadline for Registration is 10th June 2021, 1100hrs.
A complete set of Bidding Document in English shall be sent via email on the 10th June 2021, only to the parties who have successfully registered under the tender. |

Site Visit (Mandatory): |
A site visit will be held on 12th June 2021, 1100hrs at K. Funadhoo, for all the Bidders successfully registered under the tender. |

Questions and Replies: |
Questions shall be type-written in English and shall be sent via email to the address specified below. Deadline for queries is 14th June 2021, 1100hrs. Replies to questions will be given on 15th June 2021, to all those who successfully registered under this tender |

Tender Submission: |
Documents shall be emailed to [email protected] [NOT LATER than 20th June 2021 at 1100hrs.] Submissions received after deadline shall be rejected. |
