REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
1. The Government of the Republic of Maldives has received financing from Opec Fund for International Development (OFID) – Phase III and intends to apply portion of the financing for eligible payments for the following services.
2. Ministry of Finance, on behalf of Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure wishes to extend the submission deadline in the Request for Expression of Interest reference number. (IUL) 13-K/13/2021/33) dated February 4, 2021, till February 25th 2021 and invites interested consultants to indicate their interest in providing Consultancy Services for the Construction Supervision of Outer Islands Harbors Project, Maldives.
3. The services include supervision of construction of harbor projects in different islands of Maldives. Please refer to Terms of Reference (TOR) of this consultancy for list of islands included in this assignment.
4. Interested firms must provide specific information which demonstrates that they are fully qualified to perform the services (background of the firm’s technical expertise, description of any similar assignments undertaken, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, value of those services etc.)
5. The Employer will short list consultancy firms based on the Expression of Interest’s and detailed Request for Proposal will be released to the shortlisted firms. A firm will be selected in accordance with the Quality-and Cost-Based Selection (QCBS) method.
6. A more detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the consultancy services will be available on the Ministry’s website www.finance.gov.mv from 7th February, 2021. Interested firms may obtain further information by writing to the address below. It is the firm’s responsibility to verify the website for the latest information related to this Project.
7. Expressions of interest must be delivered in a written form to the address below (in person, or by mail, or by e-mail) by 1400 hours Maldivian time on February 25th, 2021.
