INVITATION FOR BIDS   

1. The Government of the Republic of Maldives has received financing from Abu Dhabi Fund for Development(ADFD) of the Small Scale Waste to Energy Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds Construction of a staff Accommodation at R.Vandhoo

2. The Ministry of Finance (MoF) on behalf of the Ministry of Environment, now invites sealed Bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Construction of Staff Accommodation at R.Vandhoo.

3. Only a listed member of the National Contractors Registry will be eligible to participate in this tender. International bidders shall seek all applicable Foreign Investment Registration and Foreign Direct Investment Policy requirements of Maldives prior to bid submission.

4. National Competitive Bidding (NCB) will be conducted in accordance with the Public Finance Regulation of Maldives. Qualifications requirements are stated in the Bidding Document.

5. Interested bidders shall registerwith the Ministry of Finance for this project from19^th November 2020 to 14^th December 2020. by: : (a) payment of a non-refundable Registration fee of MVR 500.00 (Maldivian Rufiyaa Five Hundred), through our online payment portal - Ban'deyri Pay (https://bandeyripay.finance.gov.mv/)  and, (b) e-mailing the following information  to the below given e-mail addresses:

• Name and Address of the Bidder
• Name, e-mail ID and telephone numbers of the Contact Person(s)
• Copy of the Payment/Transaction Receipt.

6. A complete set of bidding documents and related documentation is available from 22^nd  November 2020 on Finance website www.finance.gov.mv for downloading free of cost. The Employer shall not be liable for any information not received by the Bidder. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to verify the website for the latest information related to this Bid.

7. Any clarifications to the bid may be sent to  below given e-mail addresses on or before 1400 Hours Maldivian time on 3^rd December, 2020.

8. The Bidder shall furnish a bid security of 50,000.00 (Fifty Thousand) MVR for the project. The Bid security shall be valid for 148 days from the date of bid opening.  

9. Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days from the date of Bid of Opening and shall be delivered to the Ministry of Finance at the address specified in the Clause 10 of this Invitation for Bids, on or before 13:00hrs, Maldivian time on 15^th December 2020 at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend the bid opening. Late bids will be rejected.
