INVITATION FOR BIDS

The Ministry of Environment and Energy (MEE), invites eligible and qualified Bidders for Design, Build and Installation of RO plant at F. Magoodhoo.

A complete set of bidding documents in electronic format shall be available for download from the Ministry of Environment and Energy website http://www.environment.gov.mv from May 09, 2017 onwards.

The Bidder shall furnish a Bid Security of the amount MVR 10,000 of this Invitation for Bids which shall be valid for 28 days beyond the validity of the Bid. The Amount of Performance Security required under the contract shall be 5% of the Contract Price.

Pre-Bid Meeting: Will be held on May 16, 2017, Tuesday at 1000 hours Maldivian local time at the Ministry of Environment and Energy. Attending and registrar at the pre-bid is compulsory as bidders who do not attend the pre-bid meeting will not be eligible to submit their bid proposal.

Bid Opening: Bids Shall be Valid for a period of 90 days from the date of Bid Opening and shall be delivered to the Ministry of Environment and Energy at the address specified below, on May 24, 2017, Wednesday at 1000 hours, Maldivian local time on at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend the bid opening. Late bids will be rejected and electronic biddings are not permitted.
