Hiring Editor-in-Chief - The Island Economist Magazine (Monthly Retainer Basis)

1. The Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) is seeking to hire a professional Editor-in-Chief on a retainer basis for one year to the economics and finance magazine – The Island Economist.

2. Eligibility of Bidders: The bidder must be an individual and not represent another private legal entity, or government owned entity, or any combination of them in the form of joint venture.

3. Interested parties shall register for bidding by submitting the following contact details to    [email protected] by 1100 hours (Maldives time) of 14^th September 2026.

4. Bidders requiring any further clarification of the Bidding Documents, shall email their queries to [email protected] before 1100 hours (Maldives Time) of 17 September 2026. The response to clarifications shall be provided by MMA on or before 1500 hours (Maldives Time) 17 September 2026.

5. All bid documents must be emailed before 1100 hours (Maldives Time) of 23 September 2026. The recommended time emailing the Bid Submission Form 5.1 and the Financial Proposal 5.4 is between 1030 hours and 1100 hours of 23 September 2026, during the MS-Teams meeting held on 23 September 2026, from 1030 hours to 1130 hours (Maldives Time).

6. Bid documents received later than 1100 hours (Maldives Time) of 23 September 2026 will not be accepted.
