Position: Maritime Expert Consultant
Required No. 01
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Maritime Expert to provide strategic, technical and operational advisory services for maritime logistics and inter-island transport operations connecting regional airports.
Key Requirements & Qualifications

Certification: Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) at the Master level and standard STCW maritime proficiency certifications (GMDSS, Safety, Navigation, Security).

Experience: Minimum of 20 years of maritime industry experience, including at least 10 years of command experience as Master on specialized vessels (such as tugboats, landing craft, cargo ships or heavy equipment transport vessels)

Technical Knowledge: Proven background in vessel operations, maritime safety regulations, risk management and vessel inspection protocols.

Strong communication and technical reporting skills.
Scope of Work

Emergency Logistics & Operations: Advise on maritime transport arrangements for moving machinery, heavy equipment, and critical assets between regional airports during emergency situations.

Technical Specifications & Planning: Assist in drafting technical requirements, vessel specifications, operational protocols and implementation plans.

Vessel Acquisition & Inspection: Formulate vessel acquisition plans, conduct pre-purchase/pre-charter inspections and define vessel suitability for specialized cargo.

Maintenance & Service Strategy: Provide ongoing advisory support on long-term maintenance, safety compliance and operational sustainability of maritime transport services.
