1. Invitation

Faafu Atoll Education Centre invites sealed quotations from qualified suppliers for the supply of drip irrigation system components for the school's agriculture and sustainability programme.

The supplier shall provide all materials required for a complete drip irrigation distribution system as specified in this document.

2. Project Objective

The objective of this procurement is to establish an efficient irrigation network that supports sustainable agriculture, reduces water consumption, and provides practical learning opportunities for students.

3. Scope of Supply

The successful bidder shall supply the following:

3.1 Drip Irrigation Pipes

• Supply of 750 metres of UV-resistant HDPE drip irrigation pipe.
• Pipe diameter: 16 mm (or equivalent)
• Factory-installed emitters.
• Pressure rating suitable for agricultural irrigation.

3.2 Main Supply Pipeline

Supply HDPE pressure pipe including all necessary fittings.

Minimum requirements:

• Diameter: 25–32 mm
• PN6 or higher
• UV resistant

3.3 Drip Laterals and Emitters

Supply complete drip laterals including:

• Pressure compensated emitters
• Uniform discharge
• Suitable spacing for vegetable cultivation

3.4 Control Valves

Supply all valves required for system operation including:

• Isolation valves
• Ball valves
• Flush valves where required

3.5 Pipe Connectors and Accessories

Supply all accessories required for complete installation, including but not limited to:

• Elbows
• Tees
• Couplers
• Reducers
• End caps
• Adaptors
• Joiners
• Grommets
• Lock fittings
• Clamps

4. Technical Specifications

All supplied materials shall meet the following minimum specifications:

Equivalent or higher-quality products may be offered.

5. Quantity Schedule

Suppliers shall provide sufficient fittings and accessories for a complete working system.

6. Delivery Requirements

The supplier shall:

• Deliver all materials to Faafu Atoll Education Centre, Faafu Nilandhoo.
• Package materials to prevent damage during transport.
• Replace any damaged or defective materials at no additional cost.

7. Delivery Period

The goods shall be delivered within 30 calendar days from the date of Purchase Order unless otherwise agreed.

8. Warranty

The supplier shall provide:

• Minimum 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects.
• Replacement of defective materials during the warranty period.

• Faafu Atoll Education Centre reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without assigning any reason.
• Partial bids may be accepted if considered advantageous.
• Quantities may vary depending on project requirements.
• Prices shall remain valid for a minimum of 60 days from the bid submission deadline.

Bid registration: From 29^th June 2026 to 06^th July 2026

Bids can only be submitted by parties that register within this period.
