License to Operate Executive Lounges at MACL Noovilu Seaplane Terminal Building in VIA
The Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) operating the Velana International Airport (VIA) seeks to provide licenses to interested eligible parties to operate “executive lounges” in the MACL Noovilu Seaplane Terminal Building (NSPT) of VIA by providing them with currently available vacant lounge spaces [11th round]. The parties who win a lounge space are required to setup & operate an executive lounge on their own in accordance with MACL guidelines and instructions.
The interested parties shall be either a resort operator having an active license to operate a resort in the Republic of Maldives; or shall have an active contract with the Government of Maldives to manage or develop a resort in the Republic of Maldives.
Interested eligible & competent parties shall Register in the tender process by registering in the MACL “Tender Portal” (https://tender.macl.aero) and ‘submitting interest’ to the respective Tender in the Tender Portal latest by 1430hrs of 28th June 2026, Sunday. Bids in compliance with the details and requirements stated in the Tender Document shall be submitted to MACL on or before 1430hrs of 06th July 2026, Monday via the Tender Portal (online). Late bids will not be accepted. Bids will be opened at 1430hrs of 06th July 2026, Monday, in MACL Corporate Office Building at VIA, in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives who choose to attend.
Evaluation of the bids will be performed after which MACL will deliberate and finalize the award.
