INVITATION FOR BIDS

The Government of Republic of Maldives represented by Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy has received financing from BCRC China to implement the project “Review and Update of the National Implementation Plan for the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants in Maldives”, and intends to apply portion of the financing for eligible payments under the contract for “Procurement of Venue and Catering Services for National Priority Validation and Action Plan Workshop”. The Ministry now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for this project.

A complete set of the bidding documents and related documentation is available on the Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy’s website www.environment.gov.mv for downloading. It is also attached with this advertisement.

Bid Validity and Bid Opening

Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 calendar days from the date of bid opening and shall be submitted to the Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy (Dharubaaruge, Faashanaa Maalan), before 10:00 AM Maldivian Time on 23^rd June 2026. Late bids will be rejected.

The bids will be opened at 10:05 AM on 23^rd June 2026 in the presence of the bidders or their representatives, who wish to attend the bid opening.
