The Ministry of Fisheries, Agriculture and Ocean Resources has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Transforming Fisheries Sector Management in South-West Indian Ocean Region and Maldives Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under Consulting Services to hire a Consultancy Firm to Conduct “Biological Studies of Important Reef Fish Species.”

The Ministry of Fisheries, Agriculture and Ocean Resources now re-invites eligible consultants to submit Expression of Interest. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.

Interested parties must submit the following documents/information to demonstrate their qualifications, experience, and responsiveness to this TOR:

• Letter of Expression of interest
• Company registration certificate
• Company profile
• Laboratory Profile
• Evidence of similar assignments
• Reference letters/work completion certificates
• List of Key Staff proposed for the positions indicated in the terms of reference

The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
