Reference is made to the announcement number (IUL)472-ADM/472/2026/8 published on 22nd January 2026 for the establishment and operation of Helicopter Commercial Operations with Emergency Medical Services.

The Ministry hereby notifies all interested parties that the Proposal Submission Deadline has been extended from 25th March 2026 to 20th April 2026 (14:00, GMT+5). Correspondingly, the Password Submission Deadline is revised to 21st April 2026 (14:00, GMT+5).

This extension has been granted for the following reasons:

(a)        Ongoing Situation in the Middle East: The Ministry recognizes that the current and ongoing situation in the Middle East has created significant operational and logistical challenges for a number of companies and organizations that had expressed interest in responding to this RFP. These circumstances have materially impacted on the ability of affected parties to dedicate the necessary resources and capacity to the preparation of a comprehensive proposal within the originally stipulated timeframe.

(b)       Requests from Interested Parties: The Ministry has received formal and informal requests from multiple interested parties seeking an extension of the submission deadline. These requests cited, in particular, the above-mentioned regional situation as well as the complexity of the proposal requirements and the significant operational planning involved in preparing a responsive and competitive submission.

Revised Key Dates

All other terms, conditions, requirements, and provisions of the RFP remain unchanged and continue to apply in full. Interested parties are reminded to monitor the Ministry’s official website (www.transport.gov.mv) and the Official Gazette (www.gazette.mv) for any further updates or amendments.
