Developer Project Management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or relevant field with minimum 1 years of experience in relevant field.
• Experience will be considered only upon submission of an official reference letter explicitly stating the duration of employment.
OVERALL SCOPE
Responsible for handling the financial and contractual aspects of development projects under the department's purview which includes cost, estimation, revenue verification, project budget preparation, and ongoing monitoring to ensure value for money and financial control.
SCOPE OF WORK
• Facilitate and verify the sales and revenue aspects of developer projects.
• Review and validate revenue reports and sales data related to developer projects.
• Analyze cost vs revenue performance of ongoing projects to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare, review and update detailed project cost plans, budgets and payment plans.
• Conduct periodic cost reviews and update forecasts based on project progress.
• Monitor the overall progress of the projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with financial and strategic targets.
• Monitor project milestones, risks, and correspondences and provide regular progress reports in revenue aspects.
• Identify, assess, and document sales and revenue risks related to ongoing projects managed by the department.
• Manage the contract and ensure that the Developer is meeting the contractual deadlines/milestones related to sales and revenue.
• Collaborate with developers and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment project execution with overall corporate strategies.
• Implement and maintain an effective document / correspondence management system to ensure all project-related documents are properly filed and easily accessible.
• Review and comment on BOQ/BOM of projects under implementation.
• Assess variation/claims and provide technical assistance for finalizing contractual claims.
• Assist and/or prepare technical reports, Committee/Board papers and other reports as required.
• Assist in the yearly review and revision of departmental policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS
• In depth knowledge of construction procedures, materials and project management methodologies.
• Strong attention to deadlines and budget management skills.
• Solid technical background in areas such as civil works, services and contract management.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Thorough knowledge of local and related regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communicational skills in English and Dhivehi.
• Should be well organized, detail-oriented, forward-thinking and proactive.
• Able to manage own time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Should be familiar with Microsoft office package and any other software relevant.
• Familiarity with quality and health & safety standards.
SALARY PACKAGE
Gross Salary of MVR 21,500.00 to 25,000.00 based on educational qualification and experience.
