INVITATION FOR BIDS

The Government of Republic of Maldives represented by Ministry of Tourism and Environment has received financing from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and intends to apply portion of the financing for eligible payments under the contract under the contract “Eliminating Persistent Organic Pollutants Through the Sound Management of Chemicals” for the project “Establishment of Cytotoxic Waste Management Facility in Addu City”. The Ministry now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for this project.

A complete set of the bidding documents and related documentation is available on the Ministry of Tourism and Environment’s website www.environment.gov.mv for downloading. It is also attached with this advertisement.

Bid Registration

Interested Bidders shall register with the Ministry of Tourism and Environment by mailing to the email address [email protected] not later than 1200 hours on 6^th January 2026. This tender is only open for registered parties. The email should comprise of the following information:

Bid Validity and Bid Opening

Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 calendar days from the date of bid opening and shall be submitted to the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, before 11:00 AM Maldivian Time on 15^th January 2026. Late bids will be rejected.

The bids will be opened at 11:05AM on 15^th January 2026 in the presence of the bidders or their representatives, who wish to attend the bid opening.
