MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT
• Degree in Early Childhood Education or relevant field with minimum 1 year of experience in a relevant field. (or)
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education with minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant field.

OVERALL SCOPE
Responsible to ensure the safety and well-being of children brought to the Childcare Space and planning and implementing activities within the facility.

SCOPE OF WORK
• Maintain and operate the childcare space in accordance with approved procedures and guidelines.
• Plan and conduct age-appropriate educational and recreational activities for children.
• Supervise and monitor children at all times to ensure their safety, comfort, and engagement.
• Ensure children’s health and safety at all times and take necessary precautions to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Maintain proper hygiene and assist children with personal care needs following established protocols.
• Ensure first-aid supplies are always available and follow emergency procedures as required.
• Report immediately any incidents, injuries, or suspicious situations to the Supervisor.
• Oversee and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the childcare area according to prescribed procedures.
• Conduct and document regular inspections of the childcare space.
• Report any required repairs or maintenance to the designated authority.
• Monitor stock and ensure supplies are adequately maintained and replenished in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to children’s attendance, activities, and incidents.
• Prepare and submit regular reports and inspection checklists as per established requirements.
• Treat all children fairly and equally, recognizing individual differences.
• Provide care with patience, kindness, and compassion at all times.
• Communicate politely and appropriately with children, parents, and staff members.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding all matters related to children and childcare operations.
• Cooperate fully and speak honestly during incident reviews or investigations.
• Participate in all activities required to ensure the smooth operation of the childcare facility.

JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle various situations with a calm demeanor.
• Familiarity with safety procedures, including administering First Aid and CPR.
• Keen observation skills to monitor children's behavior, health, and developmental progress.
• Collaborative mindset to work effectively with colleagues and parents.

SALARY PACKAGE
Gross Salary between MVR 19,000.00 to 20,000.00 based on educational qualification and experience.
