INVITATION FOR BIDS

Consultancy Service for Developing a Comprehensive Study on Alternatives to Single-Use Plastics (SUPs) in the Maldives (Individual)

The Government of Republic of Maldives represented by Ministry of Tourism and Environment has received financing from UNEP/BRS and intends to apply portion of the financing for eligible payments under the contract for the project “Strengthening National Policy to Reduce Single-Use Plastic in the Maldives” for “Developing a Comprehensive Study on Alternatives to Single-Use Plastics (SUPs) in the Maldives”. The Ministry now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for this project.

A complete set of the bidding documents and related documentation is available on the Ministry of Tourism and Environment’s website www.environment.gov.mv for downloading. It is also attached with this advertisement.

Bid Validity and Bid Opening

Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 calendar days from the date of bid opening and shall be submitted to the Ministry of Tourism and Environment (Dharubaaruge, Faashanaa Maalan), before 10:00 AM Maldivian Time on 12^th November 2025. Late bids will be rejected.

The bids will be opened at 1005 hours on 12^th November 2025 in the presence of the bidders or their representatives, who wish to attend the bid opening.
