The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation invites interested parties to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the supply of electric bicycles (e-bikes) intended for public use under the Ministry’s sustainable EV friendly transportation initiative.
The objective of this project is to introduce an environmentally friendly and efficient mode of transportation for public use within selected urban areas of the Maldives. The Ministry seeks suppliers with proven capacity and experience in providing high-quality e-bikes, along with related docking support and maintenance services
Post the EOI phase, the Ministry will commence a Request for Proposal (RFP) process, exclusively involving parties that have submitted their EOIs. A detailed Bid Document will be made available to these parties, facilitating the preparation of proposals that are in alignment with the strategic goals of the Ministry. This approach ensures a targeted and effective collaboration with contractors who have a demonstrated capability in delivering the project.
Submissions of EOI must be completed as per the guidelines outlined in the 'Expression of Interest (EOI) Application Form' accompanying this announcement.
