Allowances

- Conduct a desk review of relevant national policies, legal frameworks, and program reports related to gender equality and women's empowerment.
- Draft or update guidelines, strategies, and action plans for gender mainstreaming and empowerment.
- Design and deliver training modules for government officials, civil society actors, and community groups on gender equality and gender-responsive programming.
- Develop tools and resources to support gender integration in planning, budgeting, and service delivery.
- Provide technical input into public campaigns, knowledge products, and communication materials to raise awareness on gender issues.
- Conduct assessments, prepare analytical briefs, and generate evidence on gender gaps and emerging issues.
- Document good practices and lessons learned for policy advocacy and replication.
- Support the development of gender-sensitive monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
- Strengthen coordination mechanisms across ministries, agencies, and development partners.
- Facilitate dialogues and consultations with stakeholders to promote inclusivity and participation of women and marginalized groups

Responsibilities
|
- Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Social Policy, Development Studies, Public Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 4-6 years of relevant professional experience in gender equality, women’s empowerment, or inclusive social development.
- Demonstrated expertise in gender policy development, gender mainstreaming, and program management at national and/or community levels.
- Strong knowledge of rights-based approaches, gender-sensitive frameworks, and national social and development policies.
- Proven capacity in institutional leadership, staff mentoring, and multi-stakeholder coordination.
- Proven capacity in institutional leadership, staff mentoring, and multi-stakeholder coordination, including work with government agencies, civil society, and international partners.
- Experience in monitoring, evaluation, and improvement of gender and/or social development programs, with emphasis on evidence-based and gender-responsive practices.
