Job Description
Credit Documentation & Processing:
- Issuance of offer / rejection letters to customers within the stipulated timeframe.
- Monitoring and follow-up on offer acceptance within the stipulated timeframe.
- Processing Disbursements.
Facility and Mortgage Documentation:
- Prepare Loan/facility, and mortgage Agreements.
- Attend court on behalf of HDFC to sign the mortgage agreements.
- Complete the assignable mortgage rights and update the due records.
- Document and maintain the record of changes applied in the agreement templates by the legal counsel and file accordingly.
Mortgage Registration and Cancellation:
- Prepare and monitor the Mortgage registration process for new loans/facilities.
- Prepare and monitor the Mortgage cancellation process for settled or repaid loans/facilities.
Records and Data Management:
- Maintain documentary log required for the execution of the mortgage agreements and coordinate with the relevant officers on speeding up the agreement signing process.
- Update and maintain data in the Mortgage Database.
- Maintain and update securities movement registry to monitor securities taken out for different purposes and follow up regularly to secure the securities.
Securities Management:
- Attend to correspondents related to securities / mortgaged titles in a timely manner.
- Monitor the physical movement of securities / mortgaged titles (in and out) and report delays to the line manager to take appropriate action.
- Ensure that the legal pockets are sealed and maintained timely in the safe allocated and report the status of pending titles to the line manager on a monthly basis.
- Conduct annual audit of securities, prepare and present the report to the line manager.
Support for Other Departments
- Assist the credit department to undertake a quarterly diagnostic review of the assets mortgaged.
- Assist technical officers in preparing initial inspection documentation for the social housing schemes.
Other Responsibilities
- Act as a focal point in executing the legal documentation (agreement signing) of Social Housing Schemes in coordination with the head of the department.
- Undertake any other responsibilities assigned by the line manager/department/management.
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Requirement
- Diploma in Business Administration / Management.
Experience & Skills
- Work experience in the banking and finance sector will be an added advantage.
- Fast typing skills (Dhivehi/English).
- Good analytical and decision-making skills.
- Should be an effectual communicator verbally and through writing skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Competent with General Office Software.
Salary:Salary ranging from MVR 11,000 to MVR 13,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
