Allowances

  • Analyze national laws, policies, and procedures under the Child Rights Protection Act and related legislation.
  • Review relevant international instruments (CRC, UN Guidelines for the Alternative Care of Children, etc.).
  • Engage with relevant stakeholders (e.g., government agencies, child protection actors) to gather insights.
  • Draft SOPs for child protection casework management
  • Draft SOPs for the management of alternative care facilities.
  • Facilitate validation workshops with stakeholders and revise SOPs accordingly.

 

Responsibilities

  • Master’s degree in law, public policy, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience in writing detailed and comprehensive reports suitable for publication.

 

 

Required Qualification

The Ministry of Social and Family Development now invites interested individuals qualified for the assignments to submit Expression of Interest inclusive of the following documentation to demonstrate your eligibility for the assignment.

  • Including the title, duration of employment indicating the total number of years, months, and job description (If employed for two or more positions at one office, job description of each job position

Job Deadline

The short-listed candidate will be requested to participate in personal interviews and submit the names and contact details of personal referees who can attest to their ability.

 

The successful candidate must understand the objectives and delivery mechanisms of the project’s portfolio. He/she must be willing to work in a team, be flexible to emerging or changing conditions, and undertake initiative in his/her broad field of actions

Interview will held between 2nd September 2025– 30th September 2025 in Ministry of Social and Family Development.
