Minimum Requirement:

• Minimum AFC “A” Certificate coaching course

• Minimum 5-10 years Coaching Experience in youth coaching or Club Level.

• Fluently spoken and written both (English / Dhivehi)

• Ability to implement age – appropriate training and tactical strategies

• Experience in scouting and talent identification for U17 level

• Strong leadership, discipline, and communication skills

• Commitment to training camps, AFC/SAFF youth tournaments and international travel

• Capacity of collaborate with the Technical Department and other national team coaches

• Familiarity with SAFF/AFC youth competition regulations and match preparation protocols

Roles:

• responsible for implementing the multi-year plan with the Technical Department by providing training and coaching at the age group competitions, in line with the long-term philosophy and policy of FAM, Towards Future plan, in order to achieve optimal results at the international level and the highest national level.

• Coaching the age group best-selected players in a positive, enjoyable and creating a safe learning environment under the guidance of Football Association of Maldives

• Promoting and helping all the football activities

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement a high-quality Football training program to achieve both team and individual objectives for Players

• Ascertain an open two-way communication between Players and guardians to ensure that set goals are met

• Assist Players with pre-tournament preparation review and create benchmarks for optimizing and measuring performance

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of training equipment and methodologies and ensure that they are maintained on a regular basis

• Develop and implement core Football strategies and instruct team members about strategic plays and moves

• Interact with Football Players as a mentor and educator in a bid to gain their confidence and understand their individual personalities

• Assess Players’ skills and monitor players during competition and practice sessions and record their athletic performance

• Administer CPR and First Aid by following established procedures in the event of injury or sickness

• Model appropriate behavior and maintain suitable conduct towards Players, officials and spectators

• Maintain responsibility for Football athlete retention and marketing and promoting Football programs

• Be punctual & conduct program with professionalism & discipline

• Conduct skill & technique assessment every 3 months

• Provide a safe learning environment for training or game before every session

• Performs any other related duties as assigned by FAM
