INVITATION FOR BIDS (THE “IFB”) FOR THE LEASE LAND PLOT FOR DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, OPERATION, AND MANAGEMENT OF THE GUESTHOUSE IN THE M. VEYVAH TOURISM LAND


ANNOUNCEMENT

The Secretariat of Veyvah Island Council (“hereinafter referred to as the “Council”) invites eligible investors, (locals and foreign) to register their interest within 10 (ten) days, by submitting a letter to submit their interest to Design, Development, Operation, and Management of a tourist facility (Guesthouse) of 20,000 Square Feet of Land allocated in     M. Veyvah Tourism Zone (hereinafter referred to as the “Land Plot”), (The LAND is attached as Annex I)

  1. Interested parties should register before 17th August 2025, at 13:30 hours, via Letter. The registration letter request shall be submitted via email to [email protected]. Only registered parties shall be allowed to purchase Bid Documents.
  2. Bid Documents will be available to purchase from the 18th   to 28th of August 2025, 09:00 hours to 1300 hrs. from the Secretariat M. Veyvah Island Council.
  3. Information session will be held both physically and virtually on 21st August 2025,11:00 hours. The meeting link will be shared with the parties who registered.
  4. Bidders or their representatives must be present with sealed Bids 10 minutes before the start of the Bid opening session on 08th September 2025, 11:00, hours at the Secretariat of the M. Veyvah Island Council. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend the Bid Opening session.
  5. The Payment for Bidding Documents is non-refundable.
