Educational qualification:

-  Master’s degree in relevant area with 10 years of experience.

OR

-  10 years of experience in the marine engineering field.

Duties and responsibilities:

-   Conduct technical assessments and evaluations of vessels, including machinery, and systems.

-   Advise on vessel maintenance strategies, preventive and corrective maintenance planning, and execution monitoring.

-  Review and ensure compliance with marine engineering standards, safety regulations, and classification society requirements.

-  Provide oversight and technical guidance for all repair works, scheduled maintenance, and planned upkeep of the company’s vessel fleet, ensuring alignment with best practices in marine engineering and asset lifecycle management.

-   Provide technical input and oversight during vessel repairs, modifications, or retrofitting.

-  Offer recommendations for operational improvements and cost-effective engineering solutions.

-  Research and evaluate emerging technologies and engineering techniques; propose viable upgrades and modernizations in line with operational needs, with formal proposals presented as required.

-   Advise on the development and implementation of a system to monitor vessel operating performance, maintenance frequency, downtime, and engineering-related expenditures.

Time to work:

-  08 Hours per day (07:30 to 15:30)
