MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT
• A’Level 3 passes (or)
• O’Level 5 passes (Including English & Dhivehi) (or)
• Certificate 3 or 4 in a relevant field
• Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in a relevant field.
OVERALL SCOPE
Assist in procuring items/equipment or any other services required by the corporation as per the procurement policy.
SCOPE OF WORK
• Receive the requirement from departments, and ensure the details provided are accurate and filled properly.
• Prepare and revise procurement-related documentation including but not limited to purchase orders, work orders, tender documentation packages, contract terms, forms, decision papers, letters, faxes, e-mails or other related documents.
• Maintain up-to-date records of procurement activities, supplier details, etc.
• Prepare status reports and expected timelines on a regular basis.
• Verify supplier invoices against bids and purchase orders for accuracy.
• Source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers.
• Perform buying duties when necessary.
• Coordinate custom clearance work for the goods received from overseas and ensure that company does not incur any fine or damages.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the smooth execution of processes.
• Respond promptly to customer and supplier inquiries on orders, cancellations, and procurement issues promptly.
• Monitor and coordinate the deliveries and resolve any logistical issues with suppliers.
• Foster and maintain strong, professional relationships with suppliers.
JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS
• Experience in procurement including basic buying and purchasing practices will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in both Dhivehi and English language.
• Should possess the knowledge of basic budget management and calculations.
• Should be familiar with Microsoft office package.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Discretion and need for confidentiality.
SALARY PACKAGE
Gross Salary of MVR 13,000.00
