REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
(PMU Staff – Individual Selection)
Project Management Assistant (National)
1- The Government of the Republic of Maldives (GoM) (the “Client”) has been allocated grant funds (the “Grant”) from Special Funds resources (Asian Development Fund) which are administered by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and executed by the Ministry of Finance and Planning. The Client intends to apply the funds towards the cost of Responsive COVID-19 Vaccination for Recovery Project under ADB’s Asia Pacific Vaccine Access Facility (APVAX) and intends to apply part of the funds for the payment of services of a Project Management Assistant as part of the PMU staff.
2- The selected candidate will directly work under the Project Manager as the Project Management Assistant of the Project Management Unit (PMU). The purpose of the assignment is to carry out all the administrative tasks in the US$10 million grant APVAX project.
3- The Ministry of Health (“the Employer”) invites eligible individuals to submit their Expressions of Interest (EOI). Interested Candidates must provide (a) a CV (in ADB template) including information that demonstrates that they are qualified to perform the services (description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, academic qualification, availability of appropriate skills, etc.)
4- A candidate will be selected in accordance with the government procedure for hiring PMU staff.

6- The successful candidate will receive a monthly remuneration of MVR 20,500.00
7- The deadline for the submission of the EOIs is on 1200 hours Maldivian Time on 24th June 2025.
