INVITATION FOR TENDER

HIRING A PARTY FOR TAILORING STO PEOPLE CHOICE UNIFORMS FOR 1 YEAR

State Trading Organization Plc. (STO) is pleased to invite registered parties in the Maldives to submit proposals for the hiring of a party to tailor STO People’s Choice uniforms for one year.

1.     Project Overview

1.1   Tailoring of STO People Choice uniforms

1.2    STO logo to be embroidered on the uniforms

1.3   Fabric must be obtained by the winning party. STO will give the fabric color code as well as material details.

1.4   Must delivery bulk orders within the agreed timeframe

1.5   Must provide alterations post-delivery.

2.     The Eligible Tenderers

2.1   The applicant must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in uniform stitching for corporate or retail clients.

2.2   The applicant must not be blacklisted or debarred by the Ministry of Finance or STO and must not have any unresolved issues with the Ministry of Economic Development or MIRA.

3.     Validation of Eligibility

3.1   Eligibility of the proponent will be validated through reference letters, work completion certificates, or any other documentation (such as photographs) issued by companies, government entities, institutions, commissions, or resort retainers, demonstrating the bidder's engagement in similar types of work.

Reference letters from individuals will not be accepted.

4.     Required documents for registration:

4.1   Relevant business registration certificate.

4.2   Relevant tax registration certificate.

4.3   Memorandum of Association (if applicable).

4.4   Articles of Association (if applicable).

4.5   Business information sheet (Ministry of Economic Development).

4.6   Bank account details.

4.7   Identity card or passport copies of business shareholders or owner.

4.8   MIRA Tax Clearance Report.

4.9   Work completion letters or References from current or former corporate client as Positive testimonials

5.     Tendering Process:

Registration and Bid Document: Tenderers can register via email by sending the required company certificates and documents required to verify eligibility to [email protected].

Deadline for Registration: 8^th May 2025, 11:00 hrs.

Note:

• Only eligible tenderers will be allowed to participate in the tender.
• A complete set of bidding documents (in English) will be sent via email only to parties who have successfully registered and meet the eligibility criteria.
