MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT

  •     Degree in Environment Science / Planning / Engineering or relevant field.
  •     Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in a relevant field.

OVERALL SCOPE

Ensure long-term environment sustainability for all projects by developing and implementing plans for areas that require plan requested and planned intervention.

SCOPE OF WORK

  • Develop and implement environmental planning strategies in alignment with the company’s sustainability and development goals.
  •  Formulating sustainable environmental programs and coordinate with stakeholders, in relation to corporate environmental and social responsibilities.
  • Work on integrating environmental considerations into urban planning and infrastructure projects, ensuring resilience and sustainability in development.
  • Researching and analyzing prevalent and emerging environmental challenges under corporation's scope
  • Preparation of environmental reports, policies, and documentation to support planning, advocacy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Focus on integrating environmental considerations into the early stages of project design and planning.
  • Work more broadly on policies, land-use, and sustainable development strategies
  • Develop land use plans that conserve natural habitats.
  • Advise on sustainable building practices for urban development.
  • Integrate biodiversity protection into city planning projects.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate environmental impacts, such as creating green spaces, reducing waste, or using sustainable construction methods.

JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge and skills in environmental research methods, impact assessments and spatial analysis.
  • Knowledge in integrated environmental planning and sustainable development frameworks.
  • Familiarity in environmental laws and regulations
  • Familiarity with GIS and Spatial data analysis
  • Knowledge of climate adaptation. Mitigation and green infrastructure strategies.
  • Ability of advocating, engaging and facilitating to develop partnership with external parties to achieve environmental and sustainability goals

SALARY PACKAGE

Gross Salary of MVR 19000.00
