ANNOUNCEMENT FOR CSR GRANT PROGRAM 2025

Maldives Pension Administration Office (MPAO) is pleased to announce the CSR Grant Program for 2025, a financial support initiative designed to empower community-driven projects that align with our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Policy. This program aims to foster sustainable development by funding innovative, small-scale projects that address critical societal needs in the Maldives.

 

Program Overview 

  • Objective: To support local organizations in implementing impactful projects that enhance social well-being, environmental sustainability, economic resilience, and community empowerment.

  • Funding Ceiling: Up to MVR 200,000 per project.

  • Project Duration: Maximum 12 months.

  • Eligible Entities: Registered local NGOs, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), and academic institutions (refer to the website page for further details).

 

Thematic Areas for 2025 

Theme: “Building Resilient and Inclusive Communities”

Projects must align with one of the following focus areas:

  1. Enhancing Well-being and Quality of Life of Communities

    • Elderly care programs and active aging

    • Mental health well-being

    • Community well-being infrastructure

    • Disability inclusion

    • Community first aid programs

    • Care therapy and rehabilitation

    • Digital literacy for senior citizens 

  1. Enhancing Community Resilience

    • Environment and climate resilience

    • Green space initiatives

    • Women and youth empowerment (mentorship programs)

    • Digital inclusion

  2. Financial Literacy Programs

    • Financial literacy

    • Digital financial literacy

    • Capacity building for startups, small business owners, and entrepreneurs

    • Capacity building on financial planning for gig workers and the informal sector

 

Application Details

  • Submission Deadline: Completed applications must be submitted by 16:00 hrs on 15 May 2025.

  • How to Apply: Complete and submit the application form provided, along with the required supporting documents (refer to the website page for further details).  


Selection Process

Applications will be evaluated based on:

  • Organizational capacity (25%)

  • Project feasibility and viability (30%)

  • Potential social, economic, or environmental impact (25%)

  • Budget, planning, and resource allocation (20%)

 

Applicants will be notified of the evaluation results.
