އަރިދަފުސް ރޯގާއާއި އިންފުލުއެންޒާ ފަދަ ގައިންގަޔަށްއަރާ ބަލިތަކާބެހޭ ތަފާސްހިސާބުތައް އެއްކުރުމުގެ ޤައުމީ ނިޒާމުތައް އިތުރަށް ހަރުދަނާ ކުރުމަށްޓަކައި ހެލްތު ޕްރޮޓެކްޝަން އޭޖެންސީގެ ފަރާތުން މާލީ އެހީތެރިކަން ހޯދުމަށް ސެންޓަރ ފޮރ ޑިޒީޒް ކޮންޓްރޯލް އެންޑް ޕްރިވެންޝަން (ސީޑީސީ)/އެޓްލާންޓާއަށް 2013 ގައި ވަނީ ޕްރޮޕޯޒަލް ހުށަހަޅާ ކާމިޔާބުކޮށްފައެވެ. މިގުރާންޓުގެ ދަށުން އަންނަނިވި ކޮންސަލްޓެންސީ މަސައްކަތްކުރުމަށް ހަމަޖެހިފައިވެއެވެ.

1. ޓާރމްސް އޮފް ރެފަރެންސް – ރެޕިޑް ރެސްޕޮންސް އެންޑް ކޮންޓެއިންމަންޓް އޮފް ޑިޒީސް އައުޓްބްރޭކް

މި ޓީ އޯ އާރުގެ ދަށުން ކުރަން ބޭނުންވާ މައިގަނޑު މަސައްކަތަކީ އަރިދަފުސްރޯގާއާއި އިންފުލުއެންޒާ ފަދަ ގައިންގަޔަށްއަރާ ބަލިތައް ކުއްލިގޮތަކަށް ފެތުރިގަންނަ ހާލަތުތަކުގައި ކަންކުރަންވީ ގޮތް، މިފަދަ ބަލިތައް ފެތުރުން މަދުކުރުމަށް ޢަމަލުކުރާނޭ ގޮތުގެ މައްޗަށް ޕްރޮޓޮކޯލް ތައްޔާރުކުރުމެވެ. އަދި އަތޮޅުތެރޭގައި ރެޕިޑް ރެސްޕޮންސް ޓީމުތަކުގެ ގޮތުގައި ހަރަކާތްތެރިވާ ހެލްތް ވޯކަރުންނަށް ތަމްރީނު ދިނުމަށް ޓޫލްކިޓް ތައްޔާރުކުރުމެވެ.

ޝަރުޠާއި މަސައްކަތުގެ ތަޖުރިބާ

3. ރަނގަޅަށް މުޢާމަލާތުކުރުމުގެ ހުނަރު ހުރުން، (ޚާއްޞަގޮތެއްގައި މަސައްކަތުގައި ހިމެނޭ މުއައްސަސާތަކުގެ މެދުގައި)

4. މަސައްކަތް ކުރިއަށް ގެންދިޔުމަށް ދިވެހިންނަށާއި ރާއްޖޭގައި ދިރިއުޅޭ މީހުންނަށް އިސްކަންދެވޭނެއެވެ.

1. Terms of Reference – Rapid response and containment of disease outbreak

Objectives

To prepare protocol for rapid response and containment of a disease outbreak, this includes ways to activate rapid response teams, active at the atoll level.

Key tasks

The expected tasks of this consultancy are as follows:

1. To formulate rapid response and containment of disease outbreak based on resource material available from CDC on and prepare protocols in coordination with relevant stakeholders at the atoll level.
2. To prepare training toolkit to activate rapid response team (RRTs) and demonstrate training for public health workers. The objective of this toolkit is to describe principles of disease exposure control, to list measures for community containment, to identify legal authority for public health response and implementation steps for containment. This toolkit should include:

• Response monitoring framework for piloting;
• Tools for assessment of in-country monitoring;
• Training package inclusive of data management tool / form.

1. To conduct a training workshop for atoll RRTs.
2. Required Qualifications and Experience

The candidate/s should have the following skills and qualifications:

1. The candidate/s should hold at least a Masters degree in Public health or epidemiology, or relevant field of health sciences, social sciences, or communication. And at least three years experience in the coordination and implementation of outbreak response and rapid response teams.
2. A good understanding of health system in the Maldives.
3. Good communication skills and ability to coordinate activities with several different parties.
4. Preference will be given to locals and persons living in Maldives.
