REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

(Project Number: TES/2025/G-001)

1. The Ministry of Finance and Planning invites interested proponents to indicate interest in the Installation of 100MW-150MW Solar PV Power Generation Plant under Design, Built, Finance, Own, Operate and Transfer basis.

2. The Government intends to implement a 100 MW to 150 MW solar project in the Greater Male’ region. This project, which includes battery storage to balance Solar PV supply and demand within the grid, is expected to contribute to the national electricity feed. It will encompass the design, financing, construction, operation, and maintenance of the facility.

3. More detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) will be available on the Ministry’s website www.finance.gov.mv  from 10^th February 2025. Interested proponents may obtain further information by writing to the address below. It is the proponent’s responsibility to verify the website for the latest information related to this Project.

4. Any clarifications regarding the project should be sent to the address below on or before 13:00 Hours Maldivian Time on Thusday, 20th February 2025.

5. The Expressions of Interest (EOI) must be delivered in a written form to the address below (in person, or by mail, or by e-mail) by 1400 hours (Local Time) on 27^th February 2025.
