Request for Expression of Interest
Project Assistant (individual) for the “Integrated Sustainable and Low Emission Transport in the Maldives”
The Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy has received funding from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) towards implementing the project “Integrated Sustainable and Low Emission Transport in the Maldives”,and intends to apply part of the proceeds to recruit a Project Assistant who will be responsible for providing support to the Project Manager in achieving the project activities and supervision over project staff, consultants and subcontractors.
The Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy invites interested eligible individuals to submit their application.
Eligibility Criteria

Schedule for the Assignment
Duration of this of this assignment is 4 months (June 1 till Sep 24) for the date of commencement with a likely extension for 5 more months based on project need. The successful candidate is expected to commence the services on June 1 2024.
Remuneration
Successful individual will be paid an all-inclusive monthly fee of MVR 20,000.

The expressions of interest must be submitted as soft copies only, by email at [email protected] no later than 1200 hours on 26 May 2024. Submissions must state the job title, address in the advertisement, and the submission deadline of the advertisement.
Documents to be submitted
- Curriculum Vitae (clearly stating the starting and ending month for previous experiences)
- Copy of National ID Card
- Copies of higher degree Academic Certificates or transcripts
- Letters of experience
- Candidates currently working in the Civil Service should provide a letter of no objection from their current employer to release from the job.
