Job Responsibilities 

• Perform necessary routine maintenance, repairs, and handles ship’s business under the direction of the Officer of the watch.
• Prepare for the trip and load cargo and ship’s shores.
• Stands watch while vessel is underway as required to reach destination safely and expeditiously.
• Steers ship under direction of navigating officer, following designated course.
• Ascend and Descend stairs, ladders, sometimes while transporting tools or objects.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the vessel.
• Mooring Stations
• Support duties during cargo work
• Conduct security duty as instructed by the Ship Security Officer

Required Qualifications 

• Valid Medical Certificate, Passport, CDC, PSSR, EFA, PST, FPFF, SAT, SDSD, Deck Rating certificate
• Previous vessel experience with container cargo vessel
