REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

CONSULTING SERVICES – INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANTS (NATIONAL)

1. The Government of Maldives has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Maldives; Atolls Education Development Project (AEDP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.

The consulting services (“the Services”) includes all the tasks related to Operations Consultant.

Duration: 1 year

1. The detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the assignment can be obtained at the address given below.
2. The Ministry of Education now invites eligible individual consultants (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The selection criteria are:
   1. Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Business Administration or any other related field.
   2. 03-05 years of work experience in related field.
   3. Work experience in government procurement sector and donor funded projects would be an added advantage.
3. A Consultant will be selected based on the EOI submitted and interview process.
4. The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

6. Expressions of interest must be delivered in a written form to the address below (by e-mail/post) by 21^st August 2023 (Monday) 1200 hours (local time).
