REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

CONSULTING SERVICES – FIRMS SELECTION 

The Government of Maldives has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Maldives; Atolls Education Development Project (AEDP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.

The announcement number (IUL) 22-E/22/2023/130 published on 3^rd April 2023 was cancelled due to inadequate EoI received and new invitation is open for interested firms.

The consulting services (“the Services”) includes, Consultancy firm to build capacity of secondary English teachers on teaching strategies for the students with complex learning profiles. The assignment is to be for Nine months and one week.

The Ministry of Education now invites eligible consulting firm (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested firms should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are:

Interested consultancy firm should submit following documents (Firm qualifications):

1)       Letter of expression of interest.  

2)       Firm registration document

3)       Firm Profile document – Minimum 3 to 6 pages.

4)       CVs of the proposed team members 

       Technical and Financial information will not be evaluated at the firm shortlisting stage.

Consultants may associate with other firms to enhance their qualifications but should indicate clearly whether the    association is in the form of a joint venture and/or a sub-consultancy. In the case of a joint venture, all the partners in the joint venture shall be jointly and severally liable for the entire contract, if selected.

A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Consultant’s Qualification-Based Selection (CQS) method set out in the Procurement Regulations.
