REQUEST FOR BIDS

Goods

(One-Envelope Bidding Process)

1. The Ministry of Education has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Maldives Atolls Education Development Project – AEDP (P177768), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward the contract for Procurement of IT Equipment for Operations Monitoring and Support Unit.
2. The announcement no. (IUL) 22-E/22/2023/183 published on 1st June 2023, has been canceled as no bids were received and new invitation is open for interested vendors.
3. The Ministry of Education of the Maldives now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders to deliver the goods within 20 days (earliest delivery date) of contract signing.
4. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Procurement in Investment Project Financing- Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services, November 2020 introduced by the Bank under the Procurement Framework (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
5. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information by writing to [email protected], and inspect the bidding document before 12:00 of 10^th July 2023 (Monday).
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12^th July 2023 (Wednesday) 11:00 Maldives Time. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 12^th July 2023 (Wednesday) 11:00 Maldives Time. All Bids (except Lot 3 & Lot 4) must be accompanied by a Bid Security of MVR 9,000.00. (Nine Thousand)
