    REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST   

(Consulting Services – Individual Selection)

Human Resource Consultant (National)

1-      The Government of the Republic of Maldives (GoM) (the “Client”) has been allocated grant funds (the “Grant”) from Special Funds resources (Asian Development Fund) which are administered by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and executed by the Ministry of Finance. The Client intends to apply the funds towards the cost of Responsive COVID-19 Vaccination for Recovery Project under ADB’s Asia Pacific Vaccine Access Facility (APVAX), and intends to apply part of the funds for the payment of services of a Human Resource Consultant (National).

2-      The selected candidate will directly work under the Project Manager as the Human Resource Management Consultant of the Project Management Unit (PMU). The purpose of the assignment is to carry out the human resource contracting and management of the contracts under this project.

3-      The Ministry of Health (“the Employer”) invites eligible individuals to submit their Expressions of Interest (EoI). Interested Candidates must provide (a) a CV (in ADB template) including information that demonstrates that they are qualified to perform the services (description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, academic qualification, availability of appropriate skills, etc.)

4-      A candidate will be selected in accordance with the individual consultant selection (ICS) method set out in the “Procurement Regulations for ADB Borrowers (2017, as amended from time to time.)”

5-      A more detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the consultancy services will be available on the Ministry’s website www.health.gov.mv, and TOR is attached with the announcement. Interested candidates may obtain further information by writing to the address below;

6-      Interested candidates shall submit their EOI online at ADB Consultant Management System (CMS) - Consulting Services Recruitment Notices (CSRN) website (http://csrn.adb.org) in accordance with the instructions contained therein. All other forms of submission including hard copy will not be considered for evaluation. The deadline for the submission of the EOIs is on 1100 hours Maldivian Time on 05^th January 2023.
