 Role and Responsibilities

• Cargo handling operations carried out using ship cranes (deck crane & derricks).
• Signaling crane operator according to standard operations procedure during cargo handling operations.
• During cargo handling operations, from vessels, barges & quay, ensure safe handling of goods & Equipment/Winch.
• During lifting cargo, ensure safety of work environment & avoid moving cargo above/over workers/labors, dismiss/disperse non-essential personnel to adhere safety.

 Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Certified Deck crane & Winch Operator
• A minimum of one year experience as winch operator.
• Previous work experience recognition letter (optional, will be an added advantage)
• Crane/winch operations technical knowledge
• Physical fitness
• Good communication skills

• Loading, unloading, and stacking cargo.
• Safe transportation of cargo to various required locations within the terminal.
• Visual inspection for any damages to vehicles prior to utilization.
  • Crane or forklift driver’s license.

  • Crane / forklift technical Knowledge
