MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT

  • Bachelors Degree or MNQF Level 7 Qualification in Social Science, Urban Planning, Community Development, Public, Social Policy or relevant field (OR)
  • Diploma or MNQF Level 5 Qualification in Social Science, Urban Planning, Community Development, Public, Social Policy or relevant field with minimum 3 years’ experience in relevant field

OVERALL SCOPE

Engage and partner with the community to plan for and deliver social sustainable programs in order to meet the needs of our growing community.

SCOPE OF WORK

  • Planning community engagement strategies in line with the overall strategies of the company
  • Develop and ensure implementation of Creative CSR programs in coordination with stakeholders and monitor programs in relation to the corporation’s ethical, sustainable, environmental and social responsibilities.
  • Design and develop and implement a range of advocacy and integrated social planning activities that will build capacity and inclusion and enhance the social wellbeing of the community
  • Identify research areas and analyze emerging social issues in the Hulhumale’ community to assist planning and developing of a smart city
  • Contribute to the preparation of papers, reports and documentation to ensure strong advocacy, planning and policy outcomes

JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS

  • An operational perspective to understand, balance and achieve corporate and community objectives and formulate meaningful sustainable community programs.
  • Good knowledge of integrated local area planning, social and urban planning issues, theories and population growth issues
  • Advocacy, engagement and facilitation skills to develop partnerships with business, community and government agencies and support others to achieve agreed outcomes.
  • Should be an effective communicator verbally as well as through writing skills.
  • Should be well organized, detail-oriented, forward-thinking and proactive.
  • Should be familiar with Microsoft office package and other relevant software.

SALARY PACKAGE
Salary negotiable based on qualification and experience.
