State Electric Company Limited (STELCO) is seeking to recruit talented and qualified candidates to fill the position of:

Assistant Engineer (Network)

Between MVR 10,500.00 – MVR 21,640.00

Other Allowances:

Selected candidate will be entitled with other allowances as per company guidelines

Department:

Information Technology and Software Engineering Department

Educational Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology with minimum 05 years work experience in related field
• The applicant must have one of these certificates:
  • CCNA certificate or higher
  • MCSE (2016) certificate
  • Virtualization Certificates in VMware and vSpere

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy company LANs, WANs, and wireless networks.
• Configuring and installing various network devices and services.
• Monitoring network engineering performances and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Managing existing and deploying new system configurations, including Windows Server, Virtualization Systems.
• Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
• Select and implement security tools, policies and procedures to company’s IT networks
• Monitor and maintain all levels of network security internally and externally
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks
• Maintaining the company PABX system/internet leased lines and working closely with the service provider to keep the services up and running
• Working with third-party providers to keep the networks running efficiently
