ANNOUNCEMENT

The following amendment is made to the Bidding Document for the Lease, Development, Operation and Management of Tourist Resorts pursuant to the Invitation for Bids (IFB) number (IUL) 88-PS/88/2021/88 dated 31^st October 2021.

With the increase in travel restrictions set forth globally due to the emergence of the new variant of Covid-19 (Omicron Variant), the Ministry of Tourism hereby announces an extension to the Bid Closing Dates, as per the below timeline. As such, the last date to obtain further information and to purchase the Bidding Documents will now be 17^th March 2022.

Hence, the following Clauses of the IFB are to be amended as below.

a) Clause 11 of the IFB:  

“Interested parties may obtain further information and purchase the Bidding Documents from 31^st October 2021 up to the 17^th March 2022, between 09:00hrs to 13:00 hrs, at the following address or via email to [email protected].”

b) Clause 20 of the IFB:

“Bids are to be delivered as follows, to the address in IFB Clause 11 or any other venue that the Ministry may announce;”

-          Bids delivered for Haa Alif, Haa Dhaal, Shaviyani and Raa Atoll islands - Before 10:00 hrs on Tuesday, 22^nd March 2022.

-          Bids delivered for Meemu, Faafu and Thaa Atoll islands - Before 13:00 hrs on Tuesday, 22^nd March 2022.

-          Bids delivered for Laamu, Gaaf Alif and Gaaf Dhaal Atoll islands – Before 10:00 hrs on Wednesday, 23^rd March 2022.
