Position: Software Developer [Backend]

Required No: 02

Duration: 6 Months with possible extension.

Job Requirement:

• Proven experience building functional and effective platforms.
• Fluent in server-side languages (PHP, NodeJS etc.).
• Proven expertise in developing complex systems using popular frameworks (Laravel, Express etc.).
• Extensive knowledge of RESTful APIs.
• Proven fluency in relational databases such as MySQL.
• 2+ years of experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Preference will be given to candidates with:
  • Knowledge of non-relational databases.
  • Frontend development experience.
  • JS/HTML/CSS fluency.
  • UI/UX design skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create functioning prototypes.
• Work with Business Analysts, UI/UX designers and frontend developers to help shape the system architecture.
• Work with the team to understand process flows and transform mock-ups into functioning applications.
• Analyze and optimize apps/code-base to improve performance and efficiency.
• Author technical documentation

Worksite and working hours:

• Flexible working hours (but should be generally available during official working hours) 
• Not required to be stationed at office

Remuneration:

Gross pay between MVR 20,000 – MVR 25,000 depending on the qualification and experience.
