INVITATION FOR BIDS

1. Public Service Media (the Employer), invites bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the projects below.

2. International Competitive Bidding (ICB) will be conducted in accordance with the State Owned Enterprises Procurement Guideline of Maldives. Qualifications requirements are stated in the Bidding Document

3. Only a listed member of the National Contractors Registry (NCR) will be eligible to participate in this tender. Registration is not required for International bidders at this stage, however, international bidders shall submit the documents as per clause 13 of ‘Construction Industry Contractor’s Regulation’ at the time of submission. International bidders shall be responsible to ensure that they confirm with required registration under NCR, Foreign Investment Registration and Foreign Direct Investment Policy requirements of Maldives prior to bid submission.

4. Interested bidders shall register with Public Service Media for the project, between 7^th September 2021 to 16^th September 2021, by: (a) payment of a non-refundable Registration fee of MVR 1,500.00 (Maldivian Rufiyaa One Thousand and Five Hundred) or USD 100.00, through online / bank transfer to the following Bank Account

• Copy of the Payment/Transaction Receipt.

Failure to e-mail the above details may result in non-registration.

5. A complete set of bidding documents and related documentation is available from 6^th September 2021 on Public Service Media website http://www.psm.mv for downloading free of cost. The Employer shall not be liable for any information not received by the Bidder. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to verify the website for the latest information related to this Bid.

6. The Bidder shall furnish a Bid Security as specified in Clause 1 of this Invitation. The Bid security shall be valid for 148 days from the date of bid opening.

7. Any clarifications to the project may be sent to the address in clause 9 of this invitation for bids on or before 14:00 Hours Maldivian Time on Monday 20^th September 2021.

8. Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days from the date of bid opening and shall be delivered to the Public Service Media at the address specified in Clause 9 of this Invitation for Bids, on or before 14:00 Hours Maldivian Time on 6th October 2021, at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend the bid opening.
