Tenderers are hereby invited by State Trading Organization Plc. of the Republic of Maldives, to hire a suitable party for repair of Funadhoo existing coastal Protection.

 1.     Project overview:

The proposed project consists of the following repair works including a construction of masonry overtopping wall.

      I.   Sheet Pile Repair

1. Repairs to areas of excessive corrosion and cavities on the sheet pile
2. Repairs to concrete capping beam
3. backfilling the area between sheet pile and retaining wall

    II.   Diesel Jetty and Quay wall Repair

1. Concrete repair of berthing areas on the diesel Jetty and removal of damaged mooring hooks
2. Possible use fenders to prevent more damage to the berthing area.

   III.   Quay Wall Repair (Breakwater connection to the mooring dolphin and retaining wall Repair)

1. Clearance of waste and rubble between the mooring dolphin and retaining wall
2. Filling of cavities in retaining wall and crack repair works on the upper surface
3. Retaining wall connection to the mooring bollard

   IV.   Masonry overtopping wall
