Procurement of Incremental Sampling Equipment for Monitoring - Retender

1.      The Government of the Republic of Maldives has received grant funds from multi-donor Climate Change Trust Fund, administered by the World Bank, towards the cost of Climate Change Adaptation Project (CCAP), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to eligible payments under the contract for Procurement of Incremental Sampling Equipment for Monitoring.

 

2.      The Ministry of Environment and Energy now invites bids from eligible and qualified bidders to Supply the Equipment’s in accordance with the specifications in the Bidding Document.

 

3.      Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and Grants by World Bank Borrowers dated January 2011, Revised July 2014, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.

 

4.      The Bidder shall be registered to submit a bid upon submission of a written application to the address below not later than 1400 hours on April 19, 2017. A complete set of the Bidding Documents in electronic format shall be available for download from Ministry of Environment and Energy website www.environment.gov.mv

5.      All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration as specified in the bidding documents.

 

6.      Bids shall be valid for a period of 91 days from the date of bid opening and shall be delivered to the address specified on clause 4 of this invitation, on or before 1100 hours Maldivian time on 20th April 2017, at which time they will be opened in the presence of the bidders representatives who wish to attend the bid opening. Late bids will be rejected.

 

 

7.      Qualifications requirements include: During the last two (2) years the bidder must have successfully completed the supply of at least the size comparable to the requirements. Bidder must have the financial capacity to perform the contract and complete the supplies within the stipulated delivery period. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Document.
