Invitation for BIDs
Regarding Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the Lease, Development and Operation of Tourist Guesthouse and City Hotel in Addu City,
Reference No: (IUL) 426-AB/426/2019/404 (30th October 2019)
- The Addu City Council (the “Council”), representing the Government of Maldives, hereby announces Amendments to Invitation for Bids (the “IFB”) for the Lease, Development and Operation of Tourist Guesthouses and City Hotels in Addu City Reference No: (IUL) 426-AB/426/2019/404 (30th October 2019).
- The deadline has been extended upon the request of investors and citizens for the inspect and purchase of the Bidding Documents to 26th day of December 2019, between 09:00 am to 12:00 pm at the following address:
- Bidding Documents may be purchased on submission of an application form to the address in IFB Clause 2. The application form can be collected from the Secretariat of the Addu City Council.
- Bid Submission and Bid Opening
- Bidders or their representatives must be present with sealed Bids 10 minutes before the start of the Bid opening event (specified in the table below), at the address in IFB Clause 2 or any other venue that the Council may announce.
- Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders or their representatives who choose to attend the event (date and time specified in the table below), at the Conference Hall of the Secretariat of the Addu City Council, Addu City or at any other venue that the Council may announce.

- Reference clock GMT+5. Bidders are strictly advised to be present 10 minutes before the set time.
- Upon the request of Meedhoo citizens, Mulimathi Tourism Zone has been excluded for the Lease, Development and Operation of Tourist Guesthouses and City Hotels in Addu City. Companies or Individuals who bought bid documents from Meedhoo Mulimathi Zone will be refunded.
- Any changes of venue for the events pursuant to IFB Clause 4 will be announced through the print and electronic media. No further notification of the time, date and/or the venue for the events will be issued by the Addu City Council.
