Basic Salary

Master Degree (MNQF Level 9) and Bachelor’s Degree (MNQF Level 7) or higher Certificate in related field with a total study period of minimum 04 years of full-time equivalent credits (480 Credits as per MNQF standards) achieved.

Educational Back Ground:
|
- Keep abreast of best practices in teaching and learning through research
- Conduct research in blended learning and educational technology use in higher education
- Assess and recommend pedagogical applicability of emerging instructional technologies (see Sloan C criteria)
- Help instructors design and develop effective and meaningful instruction in a variety of media, including online courses and courseware
- Recommend appropriate instructional strategies and advise on suitable pedagogical uses of various established technologies
- Provide advice on standards relating to distance/blended delivery, accessibility and copyright issues
- Provide professional development training to new blended course instructors. i.e.
- Orienting staff to Blended Learning course
- Project Management: Call meetings, prepare agenda, develop timeline, delegate and manage tasks given to team members
- Give advice/suggestions as to how best to make the course elements work in a blended (F2F and Online) environment
- Advise instructor as to the following aspects of the content: accessibility, readability, potential for learner engagement and fit with learning objectives
- Work with graphics/multimedia staff and/or SME to ensure that course content gets uploaded to LMS (Moodle)
- Apply Quality Matters rubric or other quality assurance instrument to evaluate course design and implementation
- Prepare for and participate in regular reviews of the instructional design process
- Conduct periodic review to monitor and evaluate on-going blended courses
- Ensure that course materials such as copyright permissions, course package, welcome letter, class fact sheet, etc. are completed
- Work with the Library and the Student Support / Student Services to address the student learning needs of geographic and transactional distance
- Clear copyright for any course materials requiring it
- Contribute to development of standards of course design, implementation and evaluation of blended courses at MNU
